36 participants from universities, research institutions and industry from 18 countries including Albania, Canada, Denmark, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, USA, UK, and Austria will attend lectures, discuss science and participate in a 1-day field experiment. The 18 teachers of the summer school are leading European experts in the field of aerosol science.

The univie: summer school „Basic Aerosol Science“ is organized every two years by the Aerosol Physics and Environmental Physics group at the University of Vienna.

The summer school is supported by the University of Vienna, the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), the Gesellschaft für Aerosolforschung (GAef), and the companies Grimm Aerosol Technik, TSI Inc., and Droplet Measurement Technologies.
