The position is part of the EU funded MSCA initial training network CLOUD-DOC which is composed of an international consortium to study aerosol formation and nanoparticle growth processes under atmospheric conditions at the CLOUD experiment at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. The PhD student at the University of Vienna will do experimental research using a DMA train for sub-10 nm particle growth analysis and investigate heterogeneous nucleation at cold temperatures aiming for improved nanoparticle detection.
